Love This!

Got it!

I’m obsessed with my new perfume for the summer. It’s the best last minute addition to any outfit and it makes me happy when I get little whiffs throughout the day. It’s everything a summer should smell like, so why wouldn’t I love it!

My Spring Grab-N-Go Garb

Spring can be tricky to dress for, one day its scorching, the next I’m shivering in 50 degree fog. In order to accommodate Spring’s schizophrenic behavior I’ve learned layering is key. Here’s my go-to essentials that can easily be switched up by changing the accessories.

>>striped tee

>>skinny jeans (colored or denim wash)

>>gold flats or sandals

>>colored cardigan

>>jean jacket if I’m not wearing a denim wash jean, or basic black blazer

>>statement necklace

>>bright colored handbag

>>fun nail polish

>>floral scarf

The goal is for it to be an easy outfit on those days when nothing looks right and I’m in a hurry. Basic is best on unpredictable ways.

The Earth Won’t Wait

For Earth Day this year I want to take a moment and stop, literally smell the flowers, appreciate my planet, and make an effort to give back and help out a little. If every person did one thing, small or big, to help reduce our impact on the declining climate we could make a difference.

This year, I pledge to recycle my E-waste. What’s that you ask? Simply opt to save the landfills from all my old electronic devices like cell phones, printers, monitors, etc. These devices are full of harmful chemicals that will make it into our air and water if not discarded responsibly. Instead, I’ll take it to my nearest e-Stewards location. Simply enter your zipcode to find one in your neighborhood.

How will you choose to make a difference in tomorrow?

‘Ello Sunshine!

This weekend it’s been forecasted to be in the 80’s! I’m definitely planning to squeeze in a few hours outside enjoying the weather and my newly decorated patio. Last year I made a DIY pallet coffee table for the patio and had a white futon.

Here’s what it looked like before:

I love how colorful and bright it is now. It just adds to the happiness factor. Happy weekend friends!

Girls in the City- San Francisco

Here’s a quick recap of what we accomplished in a day in San Francisco:

>> We started our day with a short walk through the Ferry Building, lots of cute little shops and coffee stands in there.

>> Next up was a walk down through Pier 69 and lunch at the famous Boudin Bakery for some clam chowder in a bread bowl.

>>After lunch we meandered our way to Ghiradelli Square for some free chocolate samples and a salted carmel hot chocolate.

>>The classic cable car ride to Union Square was next after a 45 minute wait (on a Monday morning!) But worth the wait for my new to SF travelers.

>>After some shopping downtown we made our way to the most iconic landmark in the area, the Golden Gate Bridge. Lucky us, no fog! (Ahem, I mean marine layer for all of you true northerners).

>>Next up was the thrilling little drive down Lombard Street.

>>We enjoyed dinner in the Mission District and then ended the day with the best view of the city at night from Twin Peaks.

While the trip was short, I think we managed to accomplish everything we wanted to minus a tour of Alcatraz. They were booked a week in advance! San Francisco will always hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to my next adventure in the city.

Girls in the City- Napa Valley

My extended weekend of exploring the San Francisco Bay Area  has ended and we had a blast! We fit in a lot of activities and saw it all. I’m going to do my best to share the details and keep it short. Enjoy!

Our first destination was the Napa Valley. We fulfilled our sweet tooth with breakfast at Bouchon Bakery and it was delish!

We also made our way to Domaine Chandon for some bubbles, V. Sattui, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, and the Oxbow Public Market.

Overall, it was a successful day of drinks and sweets. The next post will be on exploring all San Francisco has to offer so check back soon for more!

Style Me Pretty just did an interview with Camille from and it really hit home with me. Not only did the article inspire me to continue writing, she has a dreamy office, and great life motto with the quote above! We have a lot in common!
